Hundreds of cyclists will take to the streets on Saturday, July 14 to help ERRACE cancer.
ERRACE stands for Everyone Ride/Run Against Cancer Everyday. It was started in 2010 to raise awareness of cancer, raise funds for cancer research and to inspire the community to be active and health conscious.
Since its inception in 2010, ERRACE has raised more than $313,000 to benefit the Hartford HealthCare Cancer Institute at Hartford Hospital. The ERRACE organization was created by a group of professionals striving to raise awareness about cancer, raise funds for cancer research, and to inspire the community to be active and health conscious.
Events include:
100 Mile road ride begins: 7:00 a.m.
50 Mile road ride begins: 8:00 a.m.
25 Mile road ride begins: 10:00 a.m.
10 Mile Technical MTB ride begins: 9:00 a.m.
5km Run/ Walk will begin at 11:00 a.m.
All events start and finish at The Hartford HealthCare Cancer Institute at 80 Fisher Drive in Avon. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged. To register, visit ERRACE.org.
