Free Kidney Cancer Webinar July 28

Free Kidney Cancer Webinar July 28

Kidney or renal cancer, although one of the rarer forms of the disease, is newly diagnosed in about 200,000 people each year. More common for men over the age of 60, kidney cancer comes in various types, some life-threatening if left untreated.

On Tuesday, July 28, from 6:30 to 8 pm, Kidney Cancer, a free educational session, will feature Dr. Stuart Kesler, a urologist with the Hartford HealthCare Tallwood Urology & Kidney Institute. He will talk about kidney cancer, what surveillance is in relation to cancer and when it’s recommended, and treatment options for kidney cancer, including surgery.

The interactive session – which participants can join from phones, computers or tablets – will conclude with a question-and-answer session with Dr. Kesler.

The session is free but registration is required. Call 1.855.HHC.HERE (1.855.442.4373) or click here.  After you register, you’ll receive an email with easy instructions on joining the webinar.

Not feeling well? Call your healthcare provider for guidance and try to avoid going directly to an emergency department or urgent care center, as this could increase the chances of the disease spreading.
