Dr. Gutierrez is excellent. I have been seeing him for several years. He discusses medical conditions in detail (which I prefer) and treatment options and diagnostic procedures.

First doctor in almost 2 years of running all over the state to different doctors that one has slowed down enough to really dig into my problems and attempt to find solutions not just brush me off when solutions were not immediately found

Dr. Gutierrez is a gem! He continues to work on possible solutions to my back problems without surgery. I'm very pleased with him.

My only option for back pain was a pain stimulatator in this office through their online portal. I wanted to remove medications, but not insert wires near my spine due to poor reviews from 2 neurosurgeons. There are nerve blocks and radio frequency abulation choices. The chance of infection and having the leads move were common from documents from 2 well known clinics in the US. I and others feel the hard sell from the device company and office wasn't in my best interest. 2nd and 3rd opinion were required for this surgery. Do your research with surgeons and check the history of complaints and % of removal of each pain stimulatator device. Otherwise I would have stayed and continue to work with acupuncture etc....

Always a pleasure to speak with, but when I was left one option for my back pain. He was interested in only inserting a pain stimulatator per online portal. Research and discussions with surgeons (neurosurgeons) opened my eyes to high infection rates and the possibility of the leads shifting. The hard sell from the units sales person sealed the deal. I wanted off the opiods and needed different safer options. Nerve blocks and

Great guy at first, but when he decided that a spinal cord stimulatator was my only choice I declined. Based on research the infection rate and chance of the wires shifting in your spine I felt it was taking too many chances. It seemed that nerve blocks and raf's would be much more beneficial. My goal was to remove the opiods, but had only one option. Review pros and cons of a device as well as who is getting brought to court. I had a salesperson for the device in 3 days after it was offered with hard sell.

Dr G it’s always working with me to get new treatment ideas that will not only work for me, but that I would be agreeable to. He keeps me in mind when considering different options, and includes my family when I want them to be a part of the decisions. He really cares!!

UPDATE: It's a few months down the road now and no pain relief for my daughter. I would think being in the pain management business that one could expect at least a bit of pain relief to occur but unfortunately that did not happen. An interlaminar epidural spinal injection was performed and when my daughter had side effects from the procedure she called Dr. G's office and was told that those side effects were perfectly normal however when my daughter went back for her F/U appt the Dr told her that he would not attempt any other spine injections due to the fact that she experienced abnormal side effects from the procedure. So which is it, were the side effects normal or did the procedure cause problems that deemed my daughter as an unfit candidate for any future pain relief i.e, cervical injection etc? I'm also assuming that therapeutic nerve blocks do not exist in this office because we were told he does not do that. Also, when a prescription needed to be refilled that Dr had ordered initially and was set to run out, (a specific compound) she called that into Dr. G's office and was told he/someone would call that script into the compound pharmacy but that never took place so the script was never renewed. I had such high hopes for Dr. Gutierrez, I was certainly drawn to him because of his credentials but unfortunately my daughter is still in as much pain as before. ************** I accompanied my daughter this week to her appointment with Dr. Gutierrez and everything went smoothly thanks to the Dr. and his staff. The Medical Assistant is super kind, thorough, and caring and Dr. Gutierrez impressed me a lot. I feel very comfortable with his expertise, you can just tell this guy knows his stuff and that he truly cares. I trust him and more importantly my daughter does too, he's open to discussion and really takes the time to listen. We've never had to wait too long while in his office which is saying a lot given the fact the waiting room is always pretty full, it's kinda striking the number of people that desperately need pain relief. Thankfully there are doctors who dedicate their careers to helping people in pain, I feel so fortunate to have found Dr. Gutierrez for my daughter, he's a great guy and I highly recommend him to others.

Had severe, migrating upper leg to knee pain. Was send to Dr. G by my PCP. Told Doc pain would move all over the place. He said IT Band, 200% positive, gave cortisone injection in knee area. No relief. Went to a different MD who had a CT scan done and it was a bulged sacral disc.

Dr G is great. Sadly the online portal message system for this clinic is the worst. I use other online messaging with other clinicians through HH and they do phenomenal with it. Just this clinic...
