My experience with Dr. Wagner was wonderful. He explained everything that was going to happen for my surgery. Very down to earth, professional and easy to talk to. All of the doctors, nurses, and administrators we have had contact with since becoming part of Hartford Healthcare, have been excellent. Dr. Wagner was very thorough in explaining medical options, and provided enough information for me to make good healthcare decisions. If any of my friends and family have the same needs as myself, I would highly recommend they seek out Dr. Wagner and his office.

Every Dr., Nurse, Administrator we have met since joining the Hartford Health Network, have all been Knowledgeable, professional, and Polite. Would recommend Dr. Joeseph Wagner to other family and friends, as he provided all the information needed to make surgery decisions. The office assisted with all the planning and preparation, and I don't think things could have gone better.

Dr Wagner was very personable and provided me time for conversation and questions and also provided peace of mind 1 year after prostatectomy. Expectations prior to the surgery carried though and leaves me with a good feeling about choosing Him as the surgeon for a very personal and scary circumstance.

I did like the care of Dr. Wagner he took time to explain the situation with my one kidney pros and cons he saw my numbers he said it looked good but it was a far travel to me seeing him so he recommended for me to see someone else in Torrington. If I am being honest Dr. Devaney foresaw my treatment and medical issues and kept a close eye on my only kidney told me before he left since I was a special case very complicated he would leave me in caring hands so now I have to start all over again with this new Doctor in March. Also keep up with my other providers. I didn't think I was the only case in Torrington which he Dr. Wagner was supposed to have an office there but seeing this situation it is very complicated to trust again on another doctor on my only organ I was born with very upsetting in a way to start all over again

I was referred to Dr. Wagner by my urologist after receiving a diagnosis of prostate cancer. I also saw a oncologist to discuss radiation as an option instead of surgery. The oncologist was from Yale New Haven Hospital and when I told him I had an appointment with Dr. Wagner he highly recommend him as well. My surgery went excellent and I am very thankful to Dr. Wagner for all that he has done. I highly recommend him and he is worth the wait.
