Dr. Hornyak explained my condition in very understanding detail. He also reviewed the procedure and referenced that his procedure technique will be reviewed by a team to confirm, evaluate and arrive at the best overall outcome. I was very comfortable and confident with everything that was discussed.

Very scary process initially. Dr Hornyak explained everything in detail. Did not feel rushed at any time with my decision or at any point during my appointment. Procedure went well as planned. For me personally the procedure left me with little to no discomfort. Nearly all my pain is gone after dealing with this for 12 - 15 years without any diagnosis. The best way I can describe it that it has been 'A Life Changing Event' for the good considering that it was an incidental discovery following a routine cervical MRI by my Neurologist. Forever Grateful!

First surgery was for pinched nerve in my neck. Dr. Hornyak and his staff treated me like family. Explaining everything and showing the equipment and procedure so I was fully informed. I played golf 14 days after this surgery. The second was a L4-5 fusion with extreme leg pain. The process was handled with great care and expertise. In the recovery room the pain in my leg was gone! The recovery has been better than expected. Two months out now and I feel great. I’m at 70% now and have not needed PT.Both surgeries and the recoveries went better than expected.

The most dismissive arrogant doctor i have ever met. And I have seen alot !! As soon as he walked in he acted like he didn't want to be there. I had an MRI previously and he sat down and asked why I was there. Did not even want to bother with me. He even laughed at me at one point when I was upset that he even made an appointment with me since he wasn't even going to help me. Dont give this man your hard earned money. He doesn't not care about patients. Only money

My spine/ back surgery went better than I could ever have anticipated. No pain, no cane, no walker. Correspondence with all HHC personnel was above and beyond from the very beginning to follow-ups after discharge. Dr Hornyak and his team will come highly recommended to any of my friends who require this type of surgery (TLIF). I couldn't be more pleased with the whole procedure.
