Bio

Neiberg Lima, MD, FACC, FACP, CCDS is a Hartford HealthCare cardiologist. He is board certified in cardiovascular medicine, internal medicine, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, cardiac computed tomography and cardiac devices. Dr. Lima earned his medical degree from the Federal University of Ceara in Brazil. He completed his internal medicine residency at Fortaleza General Hospital and a cardiovascular fellowship at Messejana Heart Hospital.

After relocating to the United States, Dr. Lima pursued an internal medicine residency at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker MD School of Medicine, followed by a cardiovascular fellowship at Wayne State University School of Medicine.

Dr. Lima's clinical practice is dedicated to the treatment and prevention of cardiovascular diseases. His research interests include global health, Chagas disease, cardiac devices, and heart failure.
