Dr. Hagberg is chief of cardiac surgery for good reason. His air of authority is authentic based on his experience and ability to explain in clear detail the matter at hand. Dr. Hagberg's systematic presentation of cardiac anatomy, the presence of disease, and the proposed path forward to regain healthy heart function was as focused as it was informative. In meeting Dr.Hagberg any apprehension melts away given his competence, his ability to articulate the complexities of a valve replacement, and the envelope of reassurance that only someone of his stature can deliver.

Dr Hagberg performed a miracle and saved my life. I had a aorta that was coming apart it was a 9 hour surgery and they had me up and walking the next day. Truly a miracle !!
