Blessed to have Dr. Ye! She cares about having the patient's input in their own care & treatment plan. She seems to truly enjoy interacting with her patients. She Is straightforward, but with a great sense of humor & professionalism. When prescribing changing doses of prednisone at various intervals she took the time to personally write it down & handed it to us.

Dr Ye explains things very well, talks to me to include me in decisions. I really like her as a doctor.

Yixia Ye is the person that made me think that living a life of pain is what I have get used to. I had a bad experience with her and did not comeback to follow up because I rather stay home than pay a person to tell me to suck it up, it is degenerative bone disease it will worsen with age. Medical school gives the title of doctor to some people who do not deserve it.

My best friend has had to wait from early April when he started into withdrawal from lack of his RA medicine b/c he lost his health insurance. He's been w/out meds since the end of Jan. In the past 2 months, he's gotten Sooo much worse. My overwhelming concern is that by the time he is able to see Dr Ye for the first time in mid-June, it might be too late for him. He's already had to leave one job b/c of his health. If he loses his primary job, he'll be right back to where he was in Jan -- without health insurance & unable to get any treatment. He's extremely swollen from the inflammation, barely able to walk, unable to use his hands effectively ( think, basic needs like showering, eating....) fatigued ALL the time b/c of the pain .... I do NOT understand how her office prioritizes need??? I have called them, but they don't listen to anything I have to say! If my friend doesn't qualify for an urgent appointment, then no one does. Dr Ye wasn't even the doctor we had requested in the practise, so I don't even understand how he ended up w/her. I just don't understand what medicine has become. Certainly, not life-saving care!

Unsafe and dismissive. She doesn’t review charts, she doesn’t explore or recognize symptoms, withholds treatment, withholds rheumatoid medications, friction and fighting for basic care for illnesses already diagnosed. Being under her care is not safe.

I was going to a rymatoligist in Waterford CT but they closed was sent to Dr Lea I will not be going back to her she seems to think I have no psoriasis or arthritis or bed side manner was so bad she was not concerned on how I felt I'm disappointed and upset she should not be a dr

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Dr. Ye. I was referred by my GP for a new rheumatologist to discuss my ongoing diagnoses. Without reviewing any of my previous bloodwork or requesting new tests, she asked a few questions and did a very quick physical exam. She then repeatedly and rudely told me that I do not have a rheumatology diagnosis. When I tried to ask clarifying questions, she cut me off and repeated the same statements over and over. When I inquired about bloodwork, she dismissively said she didn’t need to see it and that I didn’t need any new tests. Her bedside manner was extremely poor, and I left feeling more confused and upset than before.I have been seeing a rheumatologist for almost 7 years, so it was shocking to be dismissed so quickly without reviewing any prior records. I would not recommend Dr. Ye to anyone.

I have improved so much under the care of Yixia Ye. When I first came to her, I was in very bad condition. I had a lot of pain and swelling due to my lupus (SLE) diagnosis. Thanks to her treatment and care, I no longer have pain and I am now working on getting back to my normal life, just being more careful with my health. She follows up with me every six weeks to monitor my progress and make adjustments if anything changes. I feel very confident and comfortable with the care I have received from her and her team. I am truly grateful for their support and professionalism.

I will not be returning one of the worst experiences I've had , highly offended and bedside sarcasms are personal jabs ..

My daughter had a horrible experience with this Dr, she said she wanted to cry when she was in the exam room. She felt dismissed and felt like she was wasting this Dr's time. My daughter has been suffering with hair loss, joint pain, extreme fatigue and depression for a few months now. After her initial blood work and referral from her PCP she waited over a month to see this DR and was desperately hoping to have some guidance or medication to help with symptoms. Dr basically told her to repeat bloodwork (which is fine) but dismissed her symptoms and told her she could come back in 6 months. 6 months!! I never write reviews but felt I needed to share this very disappointing and discouraging experience my young adult daughter had. She has since gotten another referral to a different Rheumatologist. And waits again...

Dr ye and staff are very friendly and professional and up to the minute. There's no waiting for extra care for days like other doctors. Dr ye is especially sensitive to your needs from pain you are having. Great team and highly recommend! Compassionate and professional!
