Experience and expertise set the Epilepsy Center at Ayer Neuroscience Institute apart. It is one of just two Level Four centers in the state and includes Connecticut’s only accredited EEG lab. Our detail-oriented providers offer comprehensive care and access to complex surgery.

More than 2 million Americans will have a seizure, but only one or two in 100 actually have epilepsy. A correct diagnosis, therefore, is essential to getting the best care. Our epilepsy specialists guide patients to the right diagnosis, often tapping the broader resources of our institute for input from other subspecialists.
