Getting a Flu Vaccination

It helps prevent you from getting the flu (duh).
It protects those around you from getting the flu.
It protects pregnant women and their unborn children.
It protects newborn babies whose mothers were vaccinated.
If you do get the flu, it may make your illness milder.
It acts as a preventative tool for people with chronic health conditions.
Last year’s flu vaccine has worn off.
A flu shot cannot cause flu illness.
CDC recommends everyone 6 months or older get the vaccine every season.
