Michael J. Daglio is Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Hartford HealthCare (HHC).
Mr. Daglio is an accomplished and experienced healthcare leader, having held various operational and strategic leadership roles throughout his career. Most recently, Mr. Daglio served as HHC’s Senior Vice President and Chief Transition Officer for St. Vincent’s Medical Center. Prior to his appointment with HHC, Mr. Daglio served as an executive with Western Connecticut Health Network (WCHN) since 2004. In his role as President of Norwalk Hospital and Chief Strategy Officer for WCHN, Mr. Daglio directed the strategy of the network’s major service lines, system integration, growth and affiliations and was responsible for quality and safety, patient/customer experience, staff and physician engagement and financial performance for Norwalk Hospital.
Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Danbury Hospital and later the WCHN network; and he served as Vice President of Operations, and Cardiovascular Service Line Executive at Danbury Hospital. Mr. Daglio began his healthcare career in New York City at Continuum Health Partners in roles within its Physician Initiatives Group and ambulatory care division.
Mr. Daglio is a member of the Make-A-Wish Connecticut Board.
He earned his Master’s in Health Administration from The George Washington University School of Business and Public Management and his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Hartford.
