Vasectomy Reversal

A vasectomy reversal (vasovasostomy) reconnects the tubes (vas deferens) that were cut during a vasectomy.

Vasectomy reversal is usually an outpatient procedure performed under spinal or general anesthesia. The success rate of vasectomy reversal depends on how much time has passed since the vasectomy, since additional blockages can form over time, and some men develop antibodies to their own sperm.
