At the David and Rhoda Chase Family Movement Disorders Center, we are committed to empowering people with Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders to do the things they love, extend their freedom of movement and enhance their quality of life.
Our multidisciplinary approach brings together specialists in neurology, psychiatry, behavioral health, urology, gastroenterology, sleep medicine, ophthalmology, cardiology and integrative medicine to coordinate your treatment. Social workers and neuropsychologists are embedded in every location to provide cognitive evaluations, resources and emotional support to you and your care partners.
Ours is the first center in the Northeast that received the designation of Comprehensive Care Center from the prestigious Parkinson’s Foundation Global Care Network. As part of this network, our clinicians can work with colleagues from other highly regarded institutions to advance patient care and improve the quality of life for people with Parkinson’s disease.
A movement disorder can reveal itself with mild, almost imperceptible changes in the body. The causes, symptoms and treatments vary from patient to patient. A proper diagnosis and early detection at the Movement Disorders Center ensure the best treatment. We offer a personal and compassionate approach to a comprehensive treatment plan that addresses the unique needs of every individual with Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders.
Our physicians serve as advisers to multiple community-based advocacy and support groups and can be found speaking, participating, organizing and spearheading countless community events throughout the year. With seven locations statewide plus the only Spanish-Language Movement Disorder Clinic in New England, we are bringing our care to you in a way that is accessible and convenient. We go beyond just talking about patient-centered services, and have committed whole-heartedly to a patient-driven approach to care.
